The Village of Carmacks will see a $50,000 money infusion from the federal authorities.
The funding for asset administration work was introduced June 6 in a joint assertion by the federal authorities and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM).
Whereas the funding for the $110 million Municipal Asset Administration Program is coming from the federal authorities, it’s being delivered by FCM.
Because it was famous within the announcement, this system is aimed toward serving to municipalities enhance planning and decision-making round infrastructure by asset administration work.
For Carmacks, this can imply updating its asset administration plan with extra detailed assessments of infrastructure and assessing the life cycle wants in addition to capital and working investments.
Future phases of the work will incorporate infrastructure upkeep into the asset administration plan.
